Bringing a community together around Architecture and Design.

This project consisted of the redesign of the School of Architecture and Design’s website at University of the Andes. This website was severely outdated, had very few visits per month, lacked consistency in its content, and, in sum, was not serving its purpose of bringing together the School’s community.
The challenge, then, was to repurpose this old website and reintroduce it to the community to offer them a space to connect and interact with the School by providing content that was relevant, interesting, and appealing to this audience.
In order to redesign this website, a thorough research process was conducted, aiming to understand the perspective of different users and stakeholders and the ecosystem in which this site would need to perform.
Besides planning and conducting this research effort, as the project manager, I coordinated the teams in charge of the graphic design, the content creation, and the development of the back-end platform.
